4th Annual Winter Blanket Retreat
The Fort Wayne/NE Indiana Chapter of Project Linus is THRILLED to announce our Fourth Annual Winter Blanket Retreat. This year our retreat will be held at the lovely Geneva Center (www.genevacenter.org) just outside of Rochester, Indiana - only a 1- 1½ hour drive from Fort Wayne. Mark your calendar! The dates are Friday, January 11 through Sunday, January 13, 2008.
The cost for the retreat is $85 per person, which includes the following:
* Double occupancy in a motel-style room. No TV in the rooms, but available throughout the facility for game scores, etc.
* All rooms include a private or semi-private bathroom (at most, you will share bathroom facilities with 3 others in our group)
* Towels and linens are provided
* 6 cafeteria-style meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch) with salad bar available at every lunch and dinner. Meals are served at 8 a.m., 12 noon and 5:30 p.m.
* A large, bright sewing room with lots of windows and natural lighting
* An accommodating staff dedicated to providing "whatever we want"
* Coffee will be available at any time. Drinks and snacks available to purchase or BYO
* The opportunity to learn a new quilt design, socialize, share ideas and techniques and sew with some of the finest (and funniest) women in the area
* Beautiful grounds, plus a famous labyrinth to explore (weather permitting)
* "Priceless" favors for each attendee PLUS many, many surprises
The rules are as follows:
* Your quilt must be donated to Project Linus upon completion
* Alcohol and smoking are prohibited in any building and on the grounds of the Geneva Center
* If you wish to room with someone, be sure you both list each other on the registration. Otherwise, you will be assigned to room with one of our delightful "blanketeers" - which isn't so bad either!

* Attire is casual. There will be another group on the grounds, so dress appropriately.
* Our group is limited to 20 - so register soon! Only registrations with payment will be accepted. Once we reach 20 registrations, we will start a waiting list.
* Cancellations received prior to December 11, 2007 will be fully refunded.
* Additional details, supply lists and map will be sent to you upon registration.
